It’s Nuvali Dirt Weekend Once Again on November 6-8

Since 2009, Nuvali is hosting the Dirt Weekend, a yearly gathering of cyclers from different parts of the country. Nuvali Dirt Weekend is reputable for its unique mountain biking event formats. Hundreds to thousands of both amateur and professional cyclers participate on the event.

This year’s Nuvali Dirt Weekend will happen in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on November 6 to 8. On November 7, the activities will be XCM (Cross Country Marathon) World Series, XC (Cross Country) 35KM, and 4X (Four Cross) races while November 8 will be devoted to the XCO (Cross Country Olympics). A mandatory technical briefing will be conducted on November 6, 5 pm and all participants are expected to attend the briefing.

Specifically, the XCM World Series is a qualifier for 2016 XCM UCI World Championships. World Championships is considered as the Olympics of the biking world.

Going back, XCM is open to racers 19 years old and above, men and women. XC 35KM is open to men and women, 15 to 50 years old and above. 4X and XCO races are open to 17 to 40 years old and above and 17 to 45 years old and above, respectively. Men and women may also participate. Masters categories are available for XC 35KM and XCO, so check your eligibility before registering with an event.

Registration starts from October 1 to November 4. Fees vary. For regular registration, the following fees apply: XCM – P1,000, XCO – P750, XC 35KM – P750, and 4X – P750. For late registration, the following fees apply: XCM – P5,825, XCO – P1,250, XC 35KM – P1,250, and 4X – P1,250. Participants may register on-site (Evoliving Center), through the partner bike shops and online. For online registration, visit www.dirtweekend.com. PayPal payment is accepted.

A kit will be given to all participants. For XCM and XCO, the kits can be claimed at the Evoliving Center in Nuvali on November 5 and 6. For XC 35KM and 4X, the kits can be claimed on Fox stores on October 28 onwards.

Nuvali Dirt Weekend 2015 is open to all cyclers – biking enthusiasts, race club members, amateurs, professionals, serious riders, and even weekend warriors.
